Cat sitting instead of a cattery

Your cat does not have to go to a cattery

Cats settle by place as much as by person. A cattery takes away the house, the smells, the sleeping spot and the routine all at once. I keep every bit of it and come to your cat instead.

  • No carrier and no car journey
  • Their own bed, their own food, their own routine
  • One visit covers up to two cats

About

Hello, I’m Catie

I have been looking after other people’s pets across Liverpool for over sixteen years. I still do it on my own, which is deliberate. It means I know every animal I look after, I notice when something is not right, and there is never a stranger letting themselves into your house.

I hold certificates in Animal Health Care and Dog Care, including Animal First Aid. I am DBS checked and fully insured with Cliverton.

I do not board dogs or cats. I look after animals in their own homes, which is what I am good at.

5 stars is not enough for how amazing Catie was with our dog Oscar. We needed support for Oscar with insulin injections twice daily while on holiday and Catie was able to support with this. Amazing communication prior to our holiday which also put my mind at ease while away. Thanks again Catie I will definitely be in touch again soon xx

Catie has always taken great care of my little cat Loki when we went away. Recently whilst we were away he became poorly and Catie went above and beyond showing compassion taking him to the vets and staying with him. Her kindness and compassion staying with our boy meant so much.

Sunndays have taken care of my flat cats whenever I've gone away. For 9 years! Always friendly and as accommodating as possible. Understands pets personalities as one of mine is very timed. Never had issues or concerns. Always very friendly in messages but mostly takes great care of your babies and sends photos if your fretting. Once when I was in France there was a weather storm and they (in tier own time and money, which I obviously paid back) went out of their way to get Feliway diffusers to help calm the kitties and it made such a difference to my trip. Amazing … highly recommend 😻😻😻

Catie has been taken care of our two cats when we are away for 3 years. She is so kind, reliable and caring! One of our cat Mia is very shy and timid. Catie always respects her personality and now Mia will not be hiding anymore when she comes to our house! Our other cat Kai Kai and Catie became best friends immediately 😃 Would recommend Catie for every pet owner!

Catie is the most amazing and caring person - she takes the best care of our cat when we go away, keeps us updated, spends time with her for cuddles and does everything we need. Couldn't recommend her more :)

We first booked Catie when we moved to a new area. Although initially concerned as our miniature schnauzer adored her old dog walker, Catie put us at ease almost immediately. Mable is quick out of the door with Catie and she is always punctual, friendly and communicative. She is a consistent and vital part of our dogs routine, and we are incredibly grateful for her! Would 100% recommend.

When I became pregnant with my twins last year I didn't know how I would be able to walk my 2 yo lab x (after I'd got to a certain size as I couldn't even get to the end of the road!) , I contacted Catie and the rest is history. She takes Nala out 3 times a week come rain or shine and has not once ever let me/us down. Nala loves going on her walks with Catie and the other dogs and since Catie has been walking her, Nala has massively improved on her lead work . Catie is a lovely person and I know when Nala goes out with her she is in great hands, I would fully recommend her to anybody that needed their pets walking/sitting 👌❤ x

We wouldn't have anyone else looking after our Springer, he sits on his chair looking out of the window waiting for Catie, he's as happy as Larry with her. I would give 10 stars🌟 if I could.

Sunnydays are not just for dogs and cats, they can do reptiles too! They came to our house each day to take care of our fussy and personality loaded tortoise. Caity was extremely conscientious and took great care of our girl. She was understanding of the unique nuances of looking after a tortoise. We were worried about being away for three weeks but we need not have worried. She was well taken care of. Highly recommended.

Fab service! I use Catie for both cat sitting and dog walking. The furry ones LOVE her and so do I. Really flexible, patient and kind, couldn't ask for more. No hesitation to highly recommend

FAQ

Common questions

The things people ask before they book. The full list is on the FAQ page.

All questions

Do you offer dog boarding?

No. I do not board dogs or cats, at my house or anywhere else. I look after animals in their own homes only. I still get asked most weeks, so it is worth saying plainly.

How do I book?

Text me. I reply to texts fastest. We arrange a free consultation, I meet you and your pet, and we agree the routine from there.

Is the consultation really free?

Yes. No charge and no obligation, and no key charge either if you hand keys over on the day.

Will my dog be walked with other dogs?

Not necessarily on its own. Tell me about your dog at the consultation and I will tell you honestly whether I can work with them.

Do you give medication?

Yes, including insulin injections for cats and dogs. An insulin injection visit is £17 per visit; any other medication is £5 per visit on top of the visit.

Do you visit outside your normal hours?

Yes, by arrangement. Late cat visits and medication rounds outside normal hours are common, just ask.

Free consultation before you book
